“The location was great and the cabin was perfect! If you're looking for a log cabin in the quiet woods on the river, this is it. It was spacious and comfortable and impressively clean! The cabin had everything we needed, too. The shower water pressure was great. The only negative of our trip was the insane brood of mosquitos! “Brett was a great communicator and very responsive to messages. Check-in was easy. The house was very clean & comfortable. The only thing that I want to comment on are the stairs. The stairs to the upstairs are very steep & the stair steps are a bit short. We navigated the stairs slowly and carefully, but if we had anyone older in our group, or with knee problems, it would’ve been a problem. Even with the stairs, we considered this a great property & had a great stay. Enjoy!”

“We were thrilled to be on the Thunder Bay river. My family likes to fish off the dock. It is shallow at this point and peacful. We were able to use one kayak. The second kayak was too filled with rain.water and too heavy for us to turn over and drain it. The deck is a lovely place to sit or eat and watch the river, except that the seat cushions were soaked with rain water also. I suggest a deck storage box to store the seat cushions when not in use. this will keep them dry and ready for use....

“The house has a cool, retro type of decorating style and was very comfortable. The only thing I would mention is that they should give renters a heads up that the driveway is located off of a side road and not the main road. It was hard to find it. ”
