However, even though I had four different credit cards, from four different networks, none of them worked with the hotel’s POS terminal. The issue was clearly not with my cards, but with the hotel’s payment system. “The toilet was dirty when we got to our room. The sink didn't drain, the tub had a piece of cloth or ribbon stuck in the drain. The front desk staff were missing for 15min when I came to check in. Breakfast was fine. Parking was fine.”

“Everything was great except the pool. It was kind of grimy looking. But that isn't something that is a necessity for us. The room was spacious with plenty of desk space for us to work remotely. The kitchenette had the necessary pots/pans/etc to make some basic dinners. We stayed a week while visiting kids/grandkids near by. It was perfect for us and I suspect we will be booking it again.”

“The staff were amazing. The night manager played board games with multiple groups of children there for a soccer tournament. It was nice to have amenities such as a pool, basketball court, and hot breakfast.”

“As soon as I walked in the room smelled stale. The bathroom was full of mold and paint was damaged everywhere. The towels were very old and damaged. The sleeping area was not much better. The bed covers smelled old and had a couple of bugs on it. The wallpaper was coming off the wall. Overall I will never stay at a Fairfield hotel again.”
