“Keep in mind, this room was $475. Room was filthy. Huge ugly stains on carpet, disgusting shower, toilet had paper in it upon arrival. Spare blankets covered in bleach stains”

“We paid about $250 for one night at this hotel. The clerk at the front desk couldn't seem to care less about anything. Our room was next door to a small party croud who hung out in the parking lot most of the time. Coffee in the morning involved instant coffee in the office area. No coffee maker in room. Very poor soundproofing between the ceiling and the walls. All night long we heard someone stumping around. Location is next door to a trailer park which makes sense. My partner did not feel...

“The room was comfortable and well located in the middle of the town, Golden. I didn’t realize the River View was on a public footpath/walkway, right off the main through road. It was difficult communicating with staff - there is no onsite staff and they didn’t answer the phones, but did respond to text messages after a delay. Parking was however easy and right around the corner from a tasty bakery.”
