“Location was everything about the empress. Great food at the hotel and near with walkable access to the heart of Victoria. Highly recommend renting a car as a lot of cool castles and beaches are close drives away. The garden was fantastic and live music and salmon at the hotel restaurant was great .”

“Great stay and the staff were very welcoming. The building has suffered some wear and tear, the elevators look pretty worn and the signs of use are apparent. Some investment into freshening up the look of the property could prove helpful for return visits. Other than those items the room was clean, the bedsheets were ready but not pressed well which was functional but not pleasing upon entry. Overall, the big seller was the location was reasonably close to downtown with parking on a weekend...

“My mom and I had a 3 night stay at the Day's Inn and it was great. The grounds are well kept and ALL of the staff that we interacted with were great. So helpful and polite. We had a minor issue on the 1st night of the bathroom fan leaking a decent amount after a shower. Staff were incredibly helpful and assisted in us changing rooms. They were on top of the problem right away as I saw the maintenance man in the room inspecting the very next morning. The pool and sauna and shower room are...
