“Ideally placed for the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth, we stayed 1 night while visiting the New Forest. We were made to feel welcome, which instantly made us relaxed. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable. The bed linen and towels felt luxurious. The weekend breakfast was excellent, we started with fresh fruit and yoghurt (cereals were also on offer) then had a full English which was cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients. ”

“This is a very charming space tailored to providing a quiet, cosy and comfortable stay. Steeped in history, this manor transports you back in time. The rooms are very comfortable, ensuring a deep rest. The restaurant serves an incredible french menu which was delicious and the attention by the host was top notch. I would definitely stay here next time im in these parts.”

“The property is beautifully designed. It is compact but well planned out and very tasteful. Everything you need is there. The breakfast basket is delightful! The cottage is attractive and in a lovely location. It is so easy to just walk across the road for dinner. We loved it!!”

“Absolutely wonderful. Not a detail missed and many that I never would have thought of found. Probably the best equipped self-catering spot we’ve stayed at. Nice lounge with large flat screen TV, lovely dining table, big heavy drapes throughout, great collection of books to sift through (Including quite a few on Stonehenge). Very close (at least by car) to Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge, easy to find.”

“This a small working farm with I believe 3 rooms at for the bed and breakfast. The building was build in 1740. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a private bath. The owner was absolutely amazing, she was friendly accommodating gave us many suggestions to place to se in the area. My wife said she would come back to England just to stay here. We loved this place ”

Also to Sarah's Grandson Keon who helped keep the tables and the fetching and carrying for the main staff. All in all our stay was vey good. Will come again. "Una esperienza diversa. Una struttura d'epoca a poche centinaia di mesi dalla Cattedrale, rimodernata ma che conserva intatte le caratteristiche originali. Siamo entrati attraverso il pub e ci siamo "arrampicati" su una scala di legno fino al terzo piano (senza ascensore). La ns camera era una famigliare molto ampia, completa di tutto e con un suo fascino antico. Davvero gentili i ragazzi che gestiscono la struttura. Colazione favolosa. Parcheggio convezionato a breve distanza. Abbiamo anche approfittato di un'ottima cena al pub dell'hotel."

Mi chiede di pagare nuovamente una stanza già saldata con una sufficienza inaccettabile. Dopo aver appurato il fatto (ore dopo) non si scusa nemmeno.
Stanza superior che di superior non ha proprio niente. Cunicoli per arrivarci e 800 porte frangifuoco. Colazione scadente.
Unica nota positiva la Signora responsabile delle colazione che è estremamente gentile. "
