“This is a gem of a location. Margaret is a delightful host with a tremendously interesting backstory. The house is beautiful and includes all original wood which is stunningly finished. Our first night we were in a small room that didn't have air conditioning, but on the second night they moved us to a larger, air conditioned room at no additional cost. “We had first floor room with outside access. Really cut down on loading and unloading the car. We stayed on a weekend and it was quiet. Slept better than I usually do in a hotel. Loved that the bathroom light switches were inside the bathroom and that there was a night light so you didn't really need to turn on the light. ”

“The room had big windows, that enabled you to see the pond behind the property and the ocean in the front of the property. Plus access to a private beach, with benches for watching the water. Very relaxing”

“The room was very comfortable and clean. Blackout curtains did not cover all of window so room was light first thing in the morning. Bed was excellent. Nice to have 2 chairs. Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was per usual - hard boiled eggs, sausage, breads, muffins, cereal, some fruit and yogurt. The dining room attendant kept everything well stocked, tidy, and asked if anyone wanted anything before he closed it up.”
