“We stayed here for three nights. We chose this one for the pool but the pool never opened. The staff were really kind. The cleaning ladies were top tier with their customer service mainly Shawnda! She is always there and always working hard. Every time I walked passed the laundry area where they clean the sheets and things she was busy doing her work but always stopped 2help if I asked a question or needed something. Throughout the entire stay no one cleaned our rooms or asked if we needed any...

“Dirty all around”

“The sheets seemed clean, the air-conditioning worked, and there wasn't any bed bugs that I found. However the mattress was stained and dirty, so was the zip up mattress cover. There were spider webs, mold, hair that was not mine, and dust. Cheap room, but not cleaned well.”

“The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...

“Gum left on headboard of the bed, No shampoo in the bathroom. No hand soap in the bottles. Hair beads from the last guest left on the floor. Manager not available for several days after my stay, called to complain and got no where with the desk clerk. Won't stay again!”

“The room was clean and air-conditioning is what I needed. My power was out at home so I booked a room. Ice machine was broke, only one for 3 floors. Elevator looked like someone had kicked it in and duct taped. No air in hallways, outside yard area was weeds. Vending machine had soda, no bottled water. Bath towels are the small towels, ok for a kid but not adults. Pressed the wrong button on the tv and maintenance had to come with a different remote to restore the picture. I was thankful...

“The only thing I did not like is in the kitchen you can’t see if it’s on high medium or low. Also, the stove don’t have no degrees on it cause you turn it on you don’t know if it’s on 402 5350 so it was very hard to cook and that is the reason why I got the room”

“Check in and valet parking was easy. Room was spacious and clean. Separately living room and bedroom is a bonus. Good location for getting to most dining options or take the free Qline to go further out. 10 minute walk to Tigers BB or Lions FB and A short Qline ride to the Detroit Art Institute, which is great! Nice bar in the very large lobby. Shower/Tub was great and the bed was a little worn, but still comfortable. My only advise is to try to get an interior room that doesn’t face the street....

“Cheap and in a great location, people is lovely and we had a great stay.”

“The cleanliness of the room was ok, and the staff was very nice. Property looked well maintained. But the key got stuck almost every time I entered the room, there was a huge draft that came through the door, the bed was hard, the pillows were super thin. But for the price, I can forgive that. But there was no hot water in the shower and the heating cooling unit either had it freezing cold or boiling hot, no in between. Not going back. ”
