“Rooms and outside facilities need updating and decorating. Outside tables and patio needs regular cleaning and sweeping. But Ben and all his staff were helpful, attentive and friendly.”

“The shower in room 7 did not work, it just dribbled. The room was noisy as it is on a busy road. It was very hot and we were very grateful for the fan when we enquired. There is no parking at the hotel but there is a car park nearby.”

“We stay here regularly whilst visiting family. I love it because everyone is very friendly, the beds are super comfy and there is a bath in the bathroom. It's walking distance into town even after a few drinks in the very reasonably priced bar! It's dog friendly too. Big carpark and surprisingly quiet after the bar closes. Usually football on the TV in the bar which keeps my husband happy (depending on play...) 😅 The Highfield is always our first choice when planning to come to Boro.”
