Very relaxing!

Everything was exactly as described. Check-in was a breeze, we just entered our code and walked right in! Everything was clean and well-maintained, and had no issues. We loved that the beach and restaurants were not crowded. We also loved the convenience of the ice cream shop and Pirate's Pizza across the street, we walked over there several times during our stay!

VRBO sucks

The owner of our unit sold the property 2-3 months before our stay. He claims he tried to cancel all bookings. We were never notified. Day-of we are scrambling to find someplace else to stay in rural place for family reunion. We had traveled Boston to FL. Obviously no options day-of in peek tourist season. VRBO would only help us find a new place using their sister company websites which had no options. I looked through them all. Not no options we liked. No options. So we were on our own.

Location not available

The property listed was no longer owned by the host so we had no place to stay when we got there. The dates listed on this are also wrong. We came down Friday not Thursday. Very disappointed

Great everything except the beds

We’ve stayed at this complex for years. Our usual unit just wasn’t available so we booked this one. The layout was really nice, love that it was on the ground floor and right by steps, which was convenient for carrying in stuff. However, the beds in this unit desperately need an upgrade.

We had never been to the Gulf Shores area. It was nice being out of town a bit. Nice unit with a nice pool area and easy beach access.

Exactly like the pictures

It’s a nice little place. Great location in the resort and close to the indoor pool / jacuzzi. Close to the outdoor pools. Close to the beach access. Has everything you need in the kitchen, but we ate out a lot. Nice closet of everything you’d need for the beach for a family of 3 or 4 people. When we arrived the floors hadn’t been cleaned. They weren’t filthy, but they weren’t cleaned before check in either. Floors/ceilings are thin and you can hear people walking around upstairs, pretty loud but probably to be expected??

An Alabama Adventure

We had never traveled to Alabama and are thrilled that we finally did. We spent the month of March in Marcus' condo in Fort Morgan. The condo became home - comfortably meeting all our needs and wants. The kitchen was well equipped - I cooked and baked and lacked nothing. The beds were comfortable and we slept beautifully after full, busy days. Marcus has beachgoers totally equipped as well - beach chairs, umbrellas, toys. The resort was amazing - a choice of pools, a gym, and laundry rooms on each floor. And then there's the beach - oh, the beach - a beach that goes on and on forever.just a short walk from the condo. We loved our stay - taking advantage of all Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach (and the Mobile environs) had to offer. We even squeezed in an overnight to New Orleans. We waited too long! Don't delay your Alabama Adventure!

Awesome reprieve

We had a wonderful time enjoying the sun and making new memories. Our questions were always answered, the place was clean and the accommodations were outstanding. You can tell someone put some thought into it. We had plenty of room for our food to be stored away, we didn’t have to live out of suitcases !! Loved it!

It was nothing to do with the owner

The owner answers immediately if you call.He was amazing. Only problems we had the owner didn’t know it was still going on because he was told it was done at the beginning of the month. The property was under construction and if you wanted to sleep in that wasn’t an option because the construction workers start screaming at 6 am in the morning outside your window. Since the property was under construction the indoor pool that was on our property was closed but the owner made sure that we had a pool to swim in. There was no broom to sweep the floor so we used the vacuum to clean the rugs and floor because it was full of sand. We will return on later date after the construction is done.
