“The room was very clean. It's a bare bones motel but fit our needs”

“Area was quiet and safe. Bed was comfortable. Staff was not very friendly. It was a bit run down and decor was very out dated. Lots of towels provided, but they were very thin. Price was a bit high for a motel. ”

“We had a great stay in Gunnison, and the Cozy Cabin was perfect for the two of us. Just the right size and amenities needed for three nights. We prefer not eating out all of the time and the kitchenette served our needs. Communication was good prior to the stay. The bed is VERY comfortable. The water temperature and pressure were good. Having recycling as an option for items we do not consider trash was appreciated. Already we plan to stay here in August when taking our daughter to school....

“Beautiful home on the river, close to the main areas in Gunnison. We loved everything about it! The hosts were great when we had an oven issue come up, very responsive and helpful. Kitchen was well stocked, the rooms and beds were clean and comfortable, and we loved using the new hot tub! Only note would be that we would've loved to have pics of the bathrooms on the listing just to ease any concerns before our arrival. But they were great, so it was no issue! Loved the steam shower! Thank you...

“This is an ADORABLE and private little cabin! Very well kept and comfortable. If you're over 6'4" you will need to duck slightly in the bathroom. All the accommodations you could ask for in a remote cabin. Highly recommend! You will need some clearance for the dirt road in. Normal SUV or pickup is fine. Nothing crazy.”

“Kenneth was absolutely great, but everything else was not so good. I was woken up late at night for work being performed. Then early morning I was woken up again by loud children in the room next to me. The front desk and support did not answer. Finally I received an inappropriate 3rd party text regarding the family next store. I was lied to about hotel staff contacting them. Then when I stated this in the text message was provided a fake excuse. Then a rep called our hotel phone an hour later...

“This property is more akin to a college dorm. The breakfast area was so small only a few people could eat indoors. Getting food and coffee down the street at the Paradise Cafe would be a better choice. If you’re looking for a bed and a shower go for it.”

“I'd give it a negative rating if it's available. The pictures are deceiving...the room is adequate (some outlets don't work); the communal area is fine. But there is nowhere in the description indicating that some rooms are 4 flights down...and if you have a bit of luggage... It's definitely not friendly for people with agility issues. PLUS, our upstairs room seemed to be occupied by elephants (not their fault, just thin floors and thin walls), and whenever outside hot tub needed to be...
