“Me and my daughter came to town for a film festival so we weren’t at the property very much throughout our stay. However, the rooms were clean. The grounds was well kept and the location was near a Walmart and gas stations had we needed anything in a pinch. It was also a fairly quiet location. Staff was nice; good coffee. ”

(I did receive a call before hand that there was no hot water). The bed was very firm mattress. I will not stay there again. ”

“The hospitality of this charming bed and breakfast is outstanding. The rural setting in the rolling hills outside of Hagerstown is lovely and relaxing. The breakfast with homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit and eggs from the chickens was delicious it served to our room giving us the opportunity for dining in private or if we wished having it in several main floor dining options or even on the outside porch. We highly recommend it.”

“Don't let the exterior fool you. This was a fine place to stay if looking for the basics. Clean, renovated rooms, comfortable beds, fast hot water with good water pressure. We were just passing through and needed a place to crash for the night, and it met all the needs. Its not a boutique stay, but it does not promise that. The staff was accommodating and breakfast was included. Not fancy, but a fine night's sleep.”

“Right off 81 this was the perfect stop for us. Bed was comfortable except the pillows were pretty flat. Our room was on the highway side so a bit noisy. I would try to get opposite side of hotel. Staff was great! Nicely updated and clean. I would stay there again but request a room on opposite side ”

She even told us a bit about her history, which was welcomed and I was able to relate. Loved her! “We had a wonderful week at the Liberty Mountain Resort. Staff were all so friendly and accommodating from the get-go. Room was clean and had a nice balcony to sit with our morning coffee facing the mountain. We enjoyed walking the property in the evenings and strolling around the pond and courtyard area. Parking was available right in front of our building for ease going in and out as we left for day activities. The food at Eagle and Owl on the property was excellent. We hit one small snag...
