“Travelodge by Wyndham in Hubbard Ohio was one of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed at. When we pulled into the parking lot, after dark,we were skeptical. Not sure if the Travelodge sign was suppose to be lit up but the area around the hotel was very dark! The parking area and entrance didn’t have any security lights The hotel sits back a ways from the road and it was pretty dark. Not welcoming in that respect. “We arrived early before check in and was told the rooms are not ready. Okay fine, I could tell they were busy by the 3 cars in the parking lot. After checking in and going to our room, there were piles of dirty linen on the hallway floor outside of the rooms. Upon entering our room there was a heavy smell of marijuana. “Someone came out and greeted us when we were unloading our car by the front entrance and asked if they could help! Impressive new property - our suite was spacious and comfortable. The fog-free mirror and the hanging towel rack in the bathroom are nice touches! ”

“The room smelled faintly like cat urine. The outside of the motel had people hanging out. Their were charcoal grills that looked like they had been there forever. My husband, who was a marine, was concerned....that says something.”

“My second stay, two nights this time. Overall great. Phone in room did not work and cell was sketchy so I had to walk out to the desk in my PJs to get an issue resolved (needed WIFI code as mine had expired). Bathtub drain backed up somewhat as I was showering. Otherwise great stay. Thanks for the 2 extra pillows as I requested, I really need them.”
