“Modern interiors in an old building. Large car park. Pay extra for a good breakfast and book it/pay as you arrive as it's cheaper than at the time of checking out.”

“Had a lovely stay at the Village Hotel. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The hotel itself was a lovely place to stay with great facilities, including a Starbucks café and restaurant on site. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay again!”

“Receptionists were friendly. The host at breakfast ensured my vegan sausages (ordered at reception the day before) were freshly heated on my arrival and breakfast was lovely. He was attentive and polite. Room was very clean with a view overlooking the garden (Room 1, double, first floor). It's one street away from the main Headingley Lane bus stops straight into Leeds City Centre and buses are regular. Lots of pubs, restaurants, hustle & bustle (it's the student area of the city)....

“Not being able to adjust the temperature of you own room was an issue - you have to go down to reception to get it adjusted and being on a route home to I presume student halls of residence meant groups of noisy folk going home in groups from 02.00 - 05.30 in morning resulted in little sleep.”

“Sinceramente, non sono abituato a dare voti negativi, ma il servizio davvero inesistente. Camere pulite, in generale struttura pulita, ma antica e con un po’ di scomodità.. per questi motivi trovo il prezzo troppo alto..”

“We had Room 213 for 2 nights which was a bit smaller than we'd had before. Bathroom was quite tight and you had to ease yourself around the door to avoid the sink. The toilet roll holder was almost behind you if you were sat on the toilet. There was no hand towel provided either. Breakfast was good and with plenty of choice and tasty. On our first full day there were some workmen working in the building and the fire alarm went off so everyone had to evacuate across the road. About 30 minutes...

“Really can't fault it. Clean, posh, good location. Dropped our bags off early and they had been taken to our room for us by night check in. Free water was needed after a festival in crazy heat. Staff all very nice”

“Hotel bellissimo. Siamo arrivate con il treno ed è vicinissimo, ma la zona ci é sembrata curata e sicura. Persino la sera del concerto siamo rientrate tranquillamente. Le camere bellissime. Spaziose, pulite e arredate con ottimo gusto. Non potrei desiderare di più. Lo scalone centrale, per salire al piano era bellissimo e ce ne siamo innamorate, tanto che ho mai voluto prendere l’ascensore. Tornerei subito , anche perché il prezzo era ottimo.”
