Muchas gracias por su valoracion y por habernos elegido para su estancia en Cuba, sus criticas nos ayudaran a mejorar cada dia mas, hemos podido informarnos de su caso en particular y lo primero queriamos pedirle disculpas si la estancia no ha sido de su agrado: - Sabemos que no estuvo conforme con que la cama fuera de matrimonio, a pesar de estar claramente en la informacion de la reserva. - Si le parecio sucio, no dude que lo revisaremos pero nuestro personal se esmera cada dia para poder dejarlo todo lo mejor posible, siento que no cumpla con sus espectativas. - Respesto al Agua, es cierto que tuvo mala suerte al coincidir con una averia desafortunada y en cuba no disponemos de las tiendas y ferreterias que disponen en otro paises, necesitando por desgracias mas tiempo para poder realizar la logistica. - La wifi, cierto es que desde que se pueso el sistema 4G en la isla hay saltos en el servicio a veces por el estado, a veces por el cliema, etc... sin duda estamos en ello para poder dar cada vez un mejor servicio. - El desayuno, es un servicio extra que no nos comunico y tengo entendido que el personal estuvo atento a todas sus necesidades, hablando con el personal ha quedado muy sorprendido por su critica a este tema. - Libertad para entrar y salir, nos gustaria nos pueda aclarar este punto ya que siempre hay alguien las 24 horas al dia durante 7 dias a la semana, tampoco tenemos conocimiento de la recepcion tuviera algun altercado con usted. Dear Mr. Herbert. We totally disagree with his comment that we consider detrimental to our honor and professionalism and that we therefore contest point by point. First, our announcement on Expedia and related sites (Hotels.com) clearly states that we are NOT a hotel but a guesthouse (B&B). If he has not read the announcement he cannot blame us for this. Second thing you didn't stay overnight in Habanavista, he just came in, quickly supervised that it's not a hotel but a B&B, he immediately complained about it and immediately left Habanavista for his decision, not having verified everything the rest of which blames or carelessness attributes to us that we have only the only truthful thing about the lock in the room that was broken due to the previous customer in checkout who had broken the key internally and that our staff had assured her that in day would have been repaired. You simply book the wrong place, all the criticisms and bad judgments were easily avoidable only by well reading the Expedia announcement. Clear that we are in a skyscraper facing the sea, horizontal properties, on floors 15 and 16, so the alternative to the 2 lifts (new) are the stairs. I also clear the late checkin, at 10pm, without notifying us and without booking our personal pickup service at the airport, which in these cases is highly recommended to facilitate late access at times when the concierge is not working. Nobody in 10 years complained about the cleanliness, surely you were very unlucky and we apologize. The lock had just been broken by previous customers with the breaking of the key inside the lock and in Cuba the intervention of a locksmith, indispensable in these cases, is not immediate and it is well known that in Cuba it takes much more patience than to the western world as it is still the third world. We will recommend next holidays in Miami.

For the checkin system we understand the criticism but often in the late checkin the communication system is complicated, for this we always recommend the service of personal airport pickup with our choffer in these cases, to ensure immediate access to the relay. Unfortunately there are no bells working in the building since 1959 and can not be repaired for reasons of state security as they do not allow us to pull new wiring, Cuba is very special. There is an emergency number for checkin at our Expedia site, but often the customer does not have a hard copy of the reserve and meets these problems. I'm a little be shocked about your shock because is very clearly anounced in Expedia that the property is not a whole apartment but rooms (total of 4) rented with an hotel formula (Relais...) so we are a B&B not a whole house. Due to the cuban law a BB has to lived by someone of the owners, like our case, but you saw that the staff area is well separated by the guest area, so the presence is very soft and the service assured 24/24, this is our formula. First of all, you know perfectly well that your booking, according to the rules of the house, was for two people while you were introduced to three people, an adult and older parents. For the sake of force majeure and respect for the elderly parents, we deemed it necessary not to deny housing as we should have. The price of our breakfast (10 cuc/pax) is true above the normal standard of normal casas particulares (5cuc/pax) but we offer a superior range of food without limit and a variety not comparable with the normal cuban B&B wich price and standard are basic. We work in the high segment of homestay so all service must be upgrade and cover the correct price. Anyway if you have breakfast to the bar in Vedado the same range of offer will cost much more certenly. It is just to explain our difference, very sorry if we not be able to comunicate to you during your stay. Hallo Annie, thanks for your kind visit. We know and agree with the checking problem due to a trouble not depending from us. The building is a complicate one and institution don't give permission to repair or renew the bell out since 1960 due misterious "national security theme". For this reason we send to all guest a previous message to contact by phone with the relais once to the address the first time to checkin, then we give the keys. Normally from 8am to 6pm a building in-charged working at the basement so the problem is only for late checkin. Sorry for the trouble. We still try to find a better solution for checking. Hallo Tes, many thanks from all Staff. Very nice from You. We alway try to do our best according with cuban troubles, as internet connection i.e. wich not depending from us but from Cuba. We risk to give to our clients every day the publica access to the connection because not allowed, and available only in limited public areas, so we are sorry but we do more than possible, as the same as many private renter. The suggestion of TV in room is kind but not in line with our filosophy because we beleive that quite, views and sound of waves is more likely for a relaxing vacation, away from the normal World. May be we are wrong but many clients appreciate this style. May be we will provide in the future the tv as opcional on request. Hope to see you again with us!
