“Location was everything about the empress. Great food at the hotel and near with walkable access to the heart of Victoria. Highly recommend renting a car as a lot of cool castles and beaches are close drives away. The garden was fantastic and live music and salmon at the hotel restaurant was great .”

“Great place to stay…outside is a little dated but the massive tree and landscaping is beautiful. Rooms were clean. And suites were very handy. Great price for a great location. Breakfast was good and there was even an outdoor garden with picnic tables. Plus you can’t beat the free kayaking and bikes!!”

“My mom and I had a 3 night stay at the Day's Inn and it was great. The grounds are well kept and ALL of the staff that we interacted with were great. So helpful and polite. We had a minor issue on the 1st night of the bathroom fan leaking a decent amount after a shower. Staff were incredibly helpful and assisted in us changing rooms.
