Hotel vicino a Hermann Fine Arts Center - Marietta

“This is an old hotel right on the Ohio River with river views from the lobby and lounge. The rooms were clean and bright with good amenities. A refrigerator would be a welcome addition but there wasn't a lot of space to add one in the room we stayed in. The town was the launch point for settlers into the "Great Northwest Territory" so there is a lot of history here with riverboats as a central theme. “When you're in the middle of renovations, it would be good to indicate that somewhere. Instead I walked into a hotel that had no ice, little vending, no equipment in the fitness room, and only one of two elevators functioning. The first room I was placed in should NOT have been an option because it had no coffee maker, tissues, soap, alarm clock, phone, USB port, or batteries in the remote. They have a list of rooms being renovated, but I got put in one anyway. I got moved into a second room...

“Room was clean, pool clean. All around wonderful place staff so friendly. My family and I have stayed at many hotels this hotel has been the best. Definitely be back. ”

“Very nice property. Our bathroom door was either closed or wide open. We wanted a “night light” for the bathroom but had to leave the light on around the mirror. Threw a lot of light into the bedroom. I think the door needed adjusting. Traffic noise was very obvious even on the 4th floor. Other than that, everything was very good, including nice selections for breakfast. Our second stay at this property. Good location.”

“The room had stained sheets, dirty wash cloths in the shower, holes in the towels. The hallways was full of guest going room to room drinking and smoking until 2am. The walls are thin and you can hear everything on the other side. I travel 30+ weeks a year things worst hotel I’ve been in 10 years”

“The price was good enough and staff were friendly. The hotel could use a little TLC though.”

“Perfect place to stay with our large family for my son’s wedding! Loved gathering in the breakfast area anytime during to visit. Plenty of room. Lastly the breakfast every morning was fantastic! Eggs sausage waffles cereal coffee grits biscuits oatmeal… perfect!”

“Saturday was bagels and muffins.no hot food staff member was unable to come in. Sunday was awesome had waffles and croissant with egg delicious. She kept the place neat and well stocked on Sunday morning. ”
