“It was a good stay, our only complaint would be that both, sink and toilet, are so low that tall people like us pretty much get a backache usung them. Everything else was fine!”

“The breakfast provided was poor, with very limited options. There was cold cereal- no milk for two days. Waffles- no butter, and an empty syrup container. Most days I didn’t eat there. ”

“Property is safe as a solo traveler. Definitely an older property that they are slowly trying to update. Beds are rough and fixtures had visible rust. Walls are very thin. Overall fine if you need a place for the night.”

“This was a great hotel with clean and modern rooms as well as a restaurant on the property and free coffee in the lobby each morning. The staff are helpful and friendly and a great location for any visit to Ames and but especially Iowa State University..”

“Great place to stay and amazing staff, stayed there while moving daughter out of dorm and they were decorating to celebrate Iowa State 2026 graduates, thought that was amazing of them to go above and beyond to support the students!!”
