“Wow! This motel was really a nice surprise. The easiest check-in to a hotel or motel I have ever had. The staff were upbeat and helpful. The landscape with all the flowers was outstanding! The room had a nice fridge and a microwave. It was clean and didn't smell like chemicals like other motel and hotels do. You can back up right to your door. Most importantly the price was half the price of rooms in Mackinaw City in which we have stayed, and much nicer.”

“It was great to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Close to the state park with lighthouse museum and fort michilimackinac within easy walking distance. The free shuttle bus to Sheplers ferry dock was also appreciated.”

“Pay attention to your booking. Picture may show a cabin but will be a hotel room. They need to do something about the moisture and the mildew smell. There was wrapper in the drawer so I know they don’t clean 100%. Bathroom had mold on ceiling. Was a decent stay though. Water park was fun for the kids and was convenient to the towns. “Really loved the vibe at Pine Cottage. Room was very clean and ours had a great view, comfortable mattress. Guests can relax on the porch chairs and the breakfast was great. Would stay again.”
