“Bellissima casa in stile vittoriano, sicuramente non per gli amanti della modernità ma per chi adora calarsi nelle atmosfere vintage. La colazione, tipicamente inglese, nel suo genere è ottima. Il centro città può essere raggiunto facilmente a piedi, ma non manca la fermata del bus nelle vicinanze . Mi mancava solo Miss Marple!”

“Siamo rimasti a York per tre sere, provenienti da Londra e diretti ad Edimburgo. La città medievale è splendida, la guest house eccellente. La camera spaziosa per tre persone e arredata splendidamente. Il bagno in camera. Pulizia ottima. La guest house rimane a circa 15 minuti dal centro, raggiungibile a piedi o anche con servizio di autobus. Consigliamo a tutti coloro, famiglie e non, che decidono di fermarsi a York. Starting with the location, it was not far to walk to York centre (around 20 minutes or so). We stayed in the Samurai suite. The theming of the room was fantastic, right down to the sunken bath. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was evident that the owners had not scrimped on quality of the furnishings or bedding....

“A wonderful place to stay. Every member of staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms are very spacious and the hotel in general is open and spacious and very inviting and cosy. Superb location for the proximity to the train station and a very short walk to the shops, bars and restaurant's. “We love this chain but it’s the first time we’ve stayed at the Hotel Indigo in York. Exactly the standard of service we expect and the surroundings are lovely. Gorgeous breakfast too - help yourself to tighter, juices and pastries and then waiter service for the hot breakfast. It turns out that as IHG members we were also entitled to a late check out at no extra cost! Great trip and we will definitely check out Hitel Indigo in more cities.”
