“Abbiamo trascorso cinque notti all'hotel Heights di Portland in occasione di una settimana di regate internazionali. Ci siamo davvero trovati bene: personale cortese e comprensivo, camere pulite (la nostra era la 8, con vista sui prati a sud dell'albergo), ambienti silenziosi, breakfast abbondante e completo, ristorante molto interessante e con prezzi interessanti. “I was attending a course in the leisure centre next door. The Aqua was an excellent, relaxed place to stay. The staff/owners were polite, friendly and generated a relaxed atmosphere. The small, well stocked bar carried on this relaxing, informal atmosphere. (The squeaky bar stools could do with fixing but were still amusing) The food is top notch and very affordable. Breakfast was a disaster, mouldy bread, mouldy fruit in the fridge, things way past their use by/ best before dates ”

“Hotel is in great location, 2’ walk from the cove and close to all walking trails. Parking is easy (£5 per day). View from the balcony was great. Room was big and clean, although quite noisy (old building). Decoration is very charming, ‘beachcomber style’. Very friendly staff. Shower had only warm to hot water. We did not get roomkeeping during our 2 night stay, which is a bit weird in a 4* hotel. We didn’t bother too much and just asked refillments at the bar. Dinner in the restaurant was ok...
