“We needed a cozy spot on the north side of Akron for our cousin’s wedding and the location was perfect for our needs. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfy. Having off street parking was handy due to a bit of snow. We appreciated that the owner had kept some of the original features and beautiful woodwork of the original home.”

“If you love historical buildings this is the place for you. Very responsive host. Simplistic place for a place to rest your head for a weekend. If you can't do stairs this isn't the place for you. Could use a good dusting Check in and out super simple!”

“Was as pictured. Could use updating of interior doors and painting refreshed on the walls. There was no air conditioning but the ceiling fans and window breeze helped. Didn’t realize it was above an active bar. Street parking can be a challenge. But overall I am pleased with my stay. The area was very walkable and the apartment was charming and the perfect size and set up for me. I would definitely stay there again. Host was responsive and thorough with communication. ”

“Host was unhelpful with several issues in the home, most of them minor, but excessive ice on the front steps made them unusable and I was told "maintenance" would stop by to address it and never did. ”

“The pool table and video game in the basement were fun. Comfortable beds and good communication with host. Kitchen was well equipped. Not walkable to downtown in the winter but a beautiful, short drive to restaurants and shopping through the beautiful Christmas lights in town. Thanks!”

“Kitchen was small and organized with utensils. AC was properly working fine but the hitting system was old and made noise overnight. The entire house was old and stairs made noise sound when i walked. I wouldn't choose this one again ever.”
