“Excellent traditional experience, onsen is great and the traditional food sets (both breakfast and dinner) are very nice. Only problems I had overall were maintaince going on during my stay (landscaping and some light building work), and some parts of the building are showing their age (especially in the onsen and lobby areas). Bonus note, some of the hole in the wall restaurants nearby are excellent and the rual area nearby is great for a break from the big cities (it has that fresh air...

“We were unaware on our reservation through Hotels.com that our reservation included breakfast and dinner. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and dinner was basically the same every night - not what I am looking for in a vacation. Still the dinner is very good. Having said that, all the food is very Japanese, so not what all travelers can do. The hotel itself is gorgeous with amazing amenities. “Old fashioned Japanese hotel, but clean environment. Free coffee on arrival and light breakfast was offered. Open air onsen was very nice Only issue was, there was no toilet inside the room which things a bit interesting at night when the human nature was calling. Otherwise lovely hotel with friendly staff”

“とても良いお宿でした。スタッフはいませんが特に困ることがなく、快適に過ごせました。温泉のお湯が肌当たりなめらかでとてもよかったです。お部屋にいきなりソファがあってちょっとびっくりしましたが、結果的にくつろぐのにとても良かったです。カードキーを玄関の棚に裏返して置いていたら、棚とキーの裏が同系色なのとライトの暗さで全く目立たず、なくしたのかと思って探してしまいました。あれは違う色の方がうれしいなぁ。”
