“The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for you. we really enjoyed our stay and there is so much history to explore.”

“Room was a lovely size and well decorated. Room was relatively clean, with the exception of a few dead bugs in the windows. Room service was slightly disappointing with some items not arriving, and no answer on the phone after to sort it. 10 calls and a voicemail. Breakfast was also disappointing, the cost of £18 per person was very steep especially with very little selection on offer. “Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky. The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands”

“Plenty of areas inside and out for our little dog to spend time with us. Location is excellent and only a short drive from the Mynd. We ate in the bar one evening and that was friendly, relaxed and atmospheric.”

“Location was fine. Room was freezing. Instructions were incomplete so was unable to change mode to actually heat the space. Brekkie was adequate (comparing to numerous Premier Inns I have stayed in over the past 3 weeks of travel in the UK.”

“Great concept. Few areas to improve. Loose handles on drawers. Dust in cups. Water in appliances. Bathroom bin not emptied leaving wonderment what else was missed. Shower would benefit from a more thorough clean with a brush. Shower hose grooves and areas within the shower holding mold. Bed ok but would benefit from a firmer mattress as they maintain shape better. Crisper cotton sheets. Although white they didn’t look the cleanest. Large mirror damage and cracked.
