“Last weekend we stayed at the Wiveton Bell for two nights. I have to report that the pub has changed hands since we were last there. The room we had was well appointed; a small snug with two easy chairs, coffee table and sideboard ......kettle, coffee machine, magazines etc.... and a separate roomy bedroom with a TV and plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space plus a modern ensuite.  We had several issues regarding the room. When we arrived at 4pm we had to wait for it to be serviced.  It was apparent...

“Beautiful property, decorated and appointed to a high standard. Great spot to retire to after a long day exploring the area. Breakfast was spot on and just what we needed to set us up for the next day's adventures too. “Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...

“Beautifully appointed, traditional country inn. Superb location, good choice of drinks and an excellent menu. The locals, as well as the staff, are friendly and the rooms cosy. Breakfast is a treat, with excellent coffee and a good choice of dishes. All set on the beautiful and atmospheric Norfolk coast with easy parking. I look forward to returning ”

“Staff were very courteous and accommodating, and gave helpful suggestions about the local area. Breakfast was made to order at our chosen time. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. ”
