Guest house a Holmrook

“Beautiful property out of the bustle of nearby Ambleside or Hawkshead. Lovingly cared for and staffed. Gorgeous views, delicious breakfast and dinner, and a hot shower. Hikes out the door. 5 minute walk to Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top. We hope to return.”

“The room was very clean and charming. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend.”

“Solo traveler, had a lovely stay! Location great, close to the station and bus stop. Amazing breakfast included and great room. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Windermere”

“Location was perfect right in the centre of historic Hawkshead ask about car parking at the primary school. On Suite was very small, the vanity didn’t drain properly, the sensor light is a pain when you don’t want to wake-up your partner at night! A common problem with all accommodation in the Uk is that only having a Duvet on the bed to hot to use and worst no top sheet, Duvets are to hot in winter because of the heating and to hot in summer with no air conditioning and with no ventilation...

“The whole experience was amazing, all of staff where brilliant and relaxed. The food for breakfast was exactly what you wanted, the room was clean and big enough for 4 and the hot tub was clean, warm and natural. I cannot imagine us not going back.”

“Nice place nice location all good.”

“Lovely clean room. Staff very friendly and informative about local attractions. Good choice of breakfast. Plenty of parking.”

“The toilet was very small which was difficult for us but otherwise everything was good. Breakfast was delicious and the room was perfectly clean.”

“Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. Il personale è cordiale e la posizione è comoda, considerando che c’è anche il parcheggio a disposizione degli ospiti. Ottima la colazione. La struttura é un po’ datata ma la camera era pulita.”

“Lovely clean and convenient. Breakfast was great as was the service. Highly recommend.”
