“A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. “We stayed in conjunction with my son’s heart surgery at the Saarland University hospital. The accommodation was within east walking distance of the hospital. We wanted a warm place with internet and we got both. It was mostly quiet and very affordable.”

“Dreckiges Geschirr im Schrank, ein ungeputztes Bad, Schimmel. Notgedrungen für eine Nacht, dann bin ich wieder ausgezogen. Man sollte diese Unterkunft in keinem Fall buchen. Trotz offensichtlich nicht geputzter Wohnung keine Kulanz, stattdessen Beleidigungen durch die Vermieterin.”

“Der Aufenthalt war ok. Ich habe aber den Besitzer angerufen. Ihn nicht erreicht, nur die Mailbox. Ich habe um Rückruf gebeten, wg. den Fernseherprogramme, aber nichts ist passiert. Kein Rückruf, keinerlei Meldung. Kann besser werden !”

“Check-in war angegeben mit 14:30 Uhr. Um kurz nach 15 Uhr hat niemand auf mein Klingeln, Anrufen oder Nachrichten schreiben reagiert. Erst durch die Intervention von FeWo direkt erhielt ich den Zugangscode. Das Leintuch hatte Flecken, der Herd funktionierte nicht und es roch leicht modrig. Die Matratze war von guter Qualität, das Bad und der Kühlschrank sauber. Das Gelände wirkt etwas ungepflegt, z.B. volle Aschenbecher im Außenbereich.”
