Hotel a Hoopa

“The staff was off sight. I have to say though that via Ring and SMS he was still very helpful, friendly and curious. Actually he was the best part of our stay. Problem #1 The bathroom smelled of urine. AND in the bowl was URINE. Problem #2 The floor in the bathroom is woeful. I put towels down so I didn't have to walk on it by the toilet. The flooring was shot. It was pulling away from the floor boards, walls and fixtures. Problem#3 the sink had a leak, but not to worry, the garbage can was...

“Questo è un classico motel americano. LA camera al secondo piano è un po' scomoda per portare i bagagli, ma più silenziosa. La stanza è pulita, ma avrebbe necessità di una risistemata, Il bagno è piccolissimo e la vasca con la tenda lo occupano quasi tutto. Il lavandino è in camera ed è minuscolo. Il letto comodo. La colazione ottima, al di sopra delle aspettative e giustifica in parte il prezzo che è da hotel e non da motel!!”

“We would definitely stay in this cabin again and recommend it to others. It was nicely updated, clean and very quiet. I would just recommend they check the fireplace and leave specific directions, as we couldn't get the controller to turn it on.”

“Well, upon arriving at the hotel, I did not see any staff members except for construction workers on site. I would not have stayed there if I had known a few things beforehand. I checked in through a live person on camera, and later found out that the staff handling check-ins and check-outs were physically located in India. I just hope Super 8 has a strong protocol in place to protect guests’ personal information, since I was required to scan my ID and credit card during the check-in process.”

“This was a basic vintage hotel. It was comfortable and fine, but nothing to write home about. For instance, the rooms don’t have microwaves or little fridges. But the bathtub was really deep and awesome. It’s the kind you wanna get on the open ocean with a paddle and head your way to Hawaii.”

“I would have to say my overall stay was very comfortable, clean and convenient. The breakfast was OK, the usual stuff such as waffles, oatmeal, juice, toast, etc. they did provide some eggs that were tasteless. I was able to have my dog which made my trip so nice.”

“Beautiful room, with large window and window seat. Perfect for reading and listening to the seals every morning. Be aware that the property is staffed from 10-6. Be sure to check your email for check in information. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Everything about our stay was excellent, but the best part by far was Tyler, the innkeeper. Kind, attentive, excellent communication and an amazing chef. We loved having breakfast with the other guests each morning, sharing delicious food and stories of our respective adventures in the redwoods. The ocean views are incredible and the bed was extremely comfortable. 10/10. ”
