Cottage a Hope

“Nice hut, lovely place, everything so clean and looked after. Good food in the local pub a short walk away. Host was friendly”

“Very comfortable property in pleasant surroundings and perfectly placed for lots of scenic walks around the Peak District, would highly recommend.”

“Ideal for us on a short visit to family with fog in tow. Foolow a lovely village with great pub and stunning views”

“It was a very peaceful spot set back from the road. The car wasn't parked on site but finding a spot on the road was easy and walking up to the cottage was guided with directions very clearly explained with photos by the host. The cottage was very secluded, clean and well equipped with a very detailed guide available to both the facilities and places to go in the area. Comfy bed, great shower, cosy lounge. My partner has had a stroke and walks with a stick but was able to cover the distance from...

“I booked this cottage at fairly short notice We were attending an event nearby and so booked only one night but it is beautifully situated and the cottage was very nice, so I would happily have stayed longer. Communication easy and very prompt via Hotels.com app and once we arrived, the mobile number was available. Self check in was easy, key safe code provided in advance. Vicky arranged for us to store bikes securely in padlocked barn. Comfortable cottage, slept well, it is very quiet. There is...

“The apartment was well furnished, comfy, the decor first class and had everything we needed. The manual was excellent. We can thoroughly recommend this venue for a short stay.”

“Came exactly as advertised, fantastic location and property. Perfect base to explore the Peak District. ”

“This flat has everything you need for a few days in the Peak District. It’s just steps away from pubs and restaurants as well as several main walking tracks. The kitchen is well furnished, and the shower is roomy with plenty of hot water. The washer and dryer are separate rather than the all-in-one we’ve sometimes found. We had a wonderful stay, and we would stay here again.”

“We had a lovely time staying for a week with our German shepherd dog. Perfect base for exploring the peaks. We really enjoyed the dog wash and private garden space.”
