One night only, May 16, arrival ~4p. Hotel receptionist, Patricia, I believe, was delightful. She checked me in quickly, explained hotel's amenities and was quick to offer suggestions when asked about evening dining. My room, however, while perfectly clean, smelled musty. Patricia called as a courtesy - nice touch - and although she immediately offered a room change or air freshener, I had already decided it wouldn't keep me awake. It did occur to me if management keeps Febreze handy, then this is an issue with which they should be more proactive. The more annoying problem for me was the wifi connection, which seemed unreliable. Could it have been my iPad? Perhaps. Not usually an issue. Wound up connecting through cellular. All in all, with so many similar hotels of this type, I would expect a neutral odor, in ALL accommodations, for the one-twenty paid.

My sincere apologies regarding the odor you encountered. However I am also glad Patricia went above and beyond to find you another room that you would be happy with. Thank for brining to my attention your concerns; I will be looking into the matter to make sure they are both taken care of properly.
