“Lovely old style building, rooms were nice and warm despite the cold weather and I loved the bath - though it would have been nice to have some bath salts or bubble bath. Soft mattress which I liked but my partner struggled with. The mini wine and kitkats were a nice surprise however we would have liked to know in advance that the restaurant and bar were not open at night especially given it was a long weekend. It was also a shame that the fire was only on for a short time. We would have liked...

“I opted for this hotel as prices in town had spiked up. The reality is quite far from what you see on internet. It is a decent place but could improve on cleanliness (carpeted floor is below acceptable, especially if you have a dust allergy - I suggest they get a better vacuum cleaner as a starting step). Staff is nice and most helpful. The area offers quite a different take on greater Melbourne.”

“This hotel was a great discovery and is now one of my favorite hotels I've stayed in. We had a one-bedroom cabin and it was wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was large with a double sink vanity & the shower had both a rain head & hand-held shower heads. We loved the little kitchenette and the absolute best part were the amazing views & gorgeous sunsets! We ate at the 'Cucina 3064' restaurant on site for breakfast & dinner--the coffee, food & service was top notch!...

“This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest. The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent.”
