Hotel a Hummelstown

“A great deal of thought, care and concern has gone into how comfortable this bed and breakfast is. It is on a farm with horses, goats and other animals that are visible from the house but not very close. The room was very comfortable and the homemade breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed sitting in rocking chairs and a swing that are on the front porch, both in the mornings and evenings.”

“Bright lights in front parking lot were unnecessary and made sleeping difficult. Mattresses were lumpy and uncomfortable. Swimming pool was a very small size, more like a large hot tub. Location of hotel was not great, off an exit of 322 next to a pediatric medical clinic and nothing else. It was nice that a breakfast was provided and the price was fair, but I can’t recommend this hotel,”

“Room was clean, and staff was helpful and curious. Breakfast options were good, coffee all day is a plus! Just wish there was an elevator for lugging around the huge dance bags. I’ll just stay on the main floor next time!”

“The air conditioning system in the 1st room had a motor problem and the shower in the second room was not appealing.. better housekeeping required for the price.”

“I appreciate that I was able to check in after midnight. However, I dont like the fact that no one came to my room to bring me clean towels or utilities. Also, they were doing construction next door to my room, so every morning at 7am, there were banging amd hammering on the walls and so much noise. It was horrible after being up all day and night the day prior. All I wanted was a good sleep and some rest. But yhe staff was nice. I also wanted a late check out, called the front desk they had no...

“The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. However, the pool was very cold and there was a large spot of what looked like rust in the shallow end, just above the water line. There was also construction to the facade of the front of the building (undisclosed at the time of booking) that started well before the "9am" start time, every day of the week of our stay.”

“Room was serviceable for a nights sleep. Floors in rooms were dirty to the point that if your shower floor was wet and you stepped in you left a foot print. Also to be fair this was the cheapest hotel in the area. Two star according to Expedia are accurate.”

“Great budget-friendly room! The breakfast was lovely and the staff was super friendly. With such a great price, we knew they were not going to have freshly renovated rooms. That didn't bother us at all, and hopefully it doesn't bother you! ”

“Breakfast could of been better. If you arrived later in the time frame, most food was gone and they didn't refill it. The waffles were great. Not a great selection of food. Wifi in my room was fast. Parking was right in front of room.”

“We loved our stay at Spark. We stayed here for our ski trip at Roundtop and it was close enough we were also able to explore Harrisburg PA! My daughter loved the pool, we were able to grab staples at nearby grocery store and a burger for dinner at nearby restaurant. We would stay here again when visiting nearby attractions!”

“We spent our first night in the room 201 and moved to the room 241 for our second night. That room was filthy, the two queen beds were filled of bed bugs. I took some pictures and videos of the bed bugs scrolling in the beds. We are very disappointed for spending $220.00 +tax per night in this hotel, and we worry for falling sick sleeping in this dirty room. I can share the videos with you.”

“It’s a decent place to stay. Quiet, peaceful and close to a few interesting places. The breakfast wasn’t all that, hence don’t expect much. The staff were helpful and friendly. The towel given to me had makeup stains, cobwebs in the bathroom and it was dusty as well. If you just want to stop by and to a night rest, it’s a decent place to stay. Again, don’t expect much, just a decent place.”
