“Our room was gross. There were hand prints on the door. Dirty towels folded like they were clean. Marks all over the walls. Peeling wallpaper. The AC was out in the lobby/breakfast area. The fitness room was dated, dirty, no towels and broken equipment. We were only given 2 towels for 3 people the entire stay. When I asked for additional towels, I was given an attitude. When I explained the room situation I did not get an apology. Nice location.”

“La struttura è ben tenuta ma non bisogna comunque aspettarsi nulla di più di un hotel da sosta di una notte. L'odore di "casa di riposo" che pervade la grande hall parla da sé, il cibo offerto così come le bevande gratuite dell'aperitivo sono appunto offerte e quindi ovviamente non hanno alcun valore. Non siamo stati male ma andare via non è stato un grande rimpianto. ”

“This was an awful stay it was 96 degrees outside and no air conditioning in the rooms. We had to go to target to buy fans. Staff told us they would discount and that never happened”

“Staff at Hampton inns are always happy and helpful. We got in close to 7 PM and I just mentioned to the front desk if they usually have cookies out, so she made a point to go bake some.”

“What I did NOT like. During check-in, I happened to overhear the receptionist explaining government rates and ID requirements to the guest ahead of me. As a government civilian employee, I asked—mostly out of curiosity—whether any such rates or considerations might apply in my case, while also noting that I had booked through Expedia and understood if they did not. The response I received left me somewhat uncomfortable. I was told there has been abuse of government ID usage and that stricter...

“Everything was OK but the smell of smoke in the room. I'm not a smoker and may be I did a mistake in the reservation, it was too late and I was too tired to ask for a change, but at the end the smell was too strong.”

“I've stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot in Short Pump several times. The location is excellent. It's close to good shopping, nice restaurants and most important my mom's assisted living facility. The staff is always friendly and helpful. And the rooms are very comfortable. It's a great stay particularly for what they charge.”

“The bed was excellent but the toilet was too low. I have bad knees so a walk-in shower and high toilet are some things I look for. The breakfast was not as high quality as some other Fairfield Inns we have stayed at. Our sausages were dried out and the eggs seemed maybe to have been made from powdered eggs. Not sure about the eggs though.”

“The Sheets were stained and bathroom had hair in it and a left over hair pin. I asked for this to be corrected. Someone I believe maybe a manager came to my the room and looked over everything and apologized and said that he would have housekeeper take care of this. I came back to new stained sheets and a somewhat cleaner bathroom. I asked again for new sheets and got another set of stained brought to my room. I took these back and gave up…”
