“We had a fabulous time in Idyllwild! The small-town vibe, the kindness of the locals, and the spectacular hikes did not disappoint. Our host, Heather, went above and beyond by upgrading us to a larger property because she thought the cabin we originally booked would be too tight for four people. We truly felt like VIPs in the main house. Everything was top-notch, beautifully kept, and felt incredibly homey. Check-in and check-out were completely seamless thanks to the keypad system. The location was excellent; very close to the town center and trails as well as a nice neighborhood for extra dog walking. The gazebo was a beautiful place for afternoon reading, naps, birdwatching. “It was a perfect little getaway weekend for two. Clean, comfortable beds in a cute, cozy cabin. We felt like we were in a tree house. Watched scrub jays in the treetops by day and bats under the starry night sky as the sun set from our vantage point in the jacuzzi. We didn't run into any hiccups at all. We were able to make the 3-point turn twice a day to park in our big Ford F150. A smaller car should have no trouble at all. We loved it. Wish we were still there!”

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute property and really loved the hot tub as well as fireplace. However I would recommend bringing an umbrella or shade as it was extremely hot and could not enjoy the large patio for the one main day I was there. It was dark inside the cabin...
