The building (built in 1830) was excellently maintained, and furnishings/decor struck the perfect balance between period and modern. The included breakfast was cooked and served in the upstairs dining room (former ballroom/meeting room). Parking was adequate and on site. “Nice sized rooms with comfortable furnitue. Sitting areas, community areas and vuews sll a plus. Away from the road noise. Hotel staff friendly. Enjoyable fresh fruit, continental breakfast or hot breakfast made fresh upon request. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Had a wonderful 3 days here. Madeleine and Ken, were excellent and helpful hosts, providing suggestions for walks, wineries and restaurants. The daily homemade breakfast was delicious and varied each day. We particularly loved the fresh homemade muffins and scones. Lovely touch to have access to complimentary snacks, fruit and drinks through the day as well. Great location, comfortable room and an easy walk into town. ”
