Guests who enjoy water sports can visit the Alton Water Visitor Centre where you will also find a children’s play area, mini golf, café and picnic site. Guests are welcome to bring 2 dogs and the owner thoughtfully provides a a welcome basket, dog beds and a purpose built outdoor kennel with an indoor area so they can be left in a comfortable environment.

For those wanting to venture in to the local town of Ipswich, there are plenty of historic sites to see, or simply shop and stop for a coffee and watch the world go by. The beach is approximately 13 miles from the property and is ideal for a family day out. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
