This Photo was taken on Isla Grande Rosario off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia. This is my Wife Kenda, getting up close and personal with one of these beautiful Peacocks! The Island Resort was pretty nice for the price!!! $100 per person per day including the boat ride there and back, 5 meals a day!!! and all the drinks you can handle from 10 am to 9pm! It was our first all inclusive!

“è un bel posto dove trascorrere un pò di giorni ma non troppi perchè ci si potrebbe annoiare . la sera non fanno niente e alle 8,30 non ce più nessuno in giro. Detto questo però il posto è molto bello, si mangia bene e il mare è proprio come si vede nelle foto soprattutto nella playa bonita che dista 10 minuti a piedi attraversando l'isola. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile.”

“We had a great time. The property has two residences. The chefs/cleaners are in a house at the back. They were really great. Especially great cooks! We provided the groceries and they cooked in the outside kitchen to perfection and cleaned after each meal. For us, it was all authentic Colombian food, which is what we wanted.The location is great. “After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night.
