“We were prepared for no hot water, no AC, no cell service, but we were not prepared for the overall shady communication, vibes and charges. We booked this hotel to be close to Corcovado, and booked a tour with the hotel. When we asked for details, they said they said that the communication from Expedia was poor, and they only booked our snorkeling tour. We asked to cancel the snorkeling because the national park was our priority. She said they couldn't because they already bought the tickets....

“Perfect Hotel. We enjoyed the location with a breathtaking view over the ocean, sunset included, with a clean and refreshing infinity pool. Service was more than perfect, very friendly and very personal. Unbeatable was the restaurant - we ate three times there plus breakfast and did not remember having tasted this high quality in a long time. What a great finale for our vacation in Costa Rica.”

“The welcome by being collected on the beach and having our luggage taken to the room was a nice touch. The room itself was clean and the view was gorgeous. We were disappointed with the general service, particularly in the hotels restaurant. We booked a table on the first evening and it wasn't ready when we arrived, with the staff seeming stressed at our arrival. We were sat down 15 minutes late and the food took over an hour to arrive, during which time we were not visited once by the staff...

Every morning a very handsome woodpecker would come and curiously check us, it was really unique. “Wonderful, accommodating, and attentive staff!! Beautiful lodge and rooms. Jungle and gorgeously landscaped flowering grounds surround the lodge. The food was delicious and in ample amounts. We did the snorkeling trip to Cano island and the hike in Corcovado park. Saw lots of wildlife on both, though even at the lodge we saw Macaws, a Toucan, Capuchin monkeys, and a large snake climbing a tree! “We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the lodge buildings are very sympathetically designed, and blend well with the surroundings. Everywhere is very clean and maintained to a high standard. We loved sitting on the bar stools and watching the monkeys and morpho butterflies.
