“Staff was amazing, and communication during and after booking was excellent. The building (built in 1830) was excellently maintained, and furnishings/decor struck the perfect balance between period and modern. The included breakfast was cooked and served in the upstairs dining room (former ballroom/meeting room). Parking was adequate and on site. “The property was charming, we felt like we were home when I walked in. It was Inviting, comfortable, tastefully decorated and clean. The host that we had the pleasure of meeting was very personable and friendly. He gave us a lot of good information about the sights and the entertainment available, along with all best dining establishments which included their very own Blackberry Cafe',. YUMMY homemade fresh bagels daily. Headed back next year, if they'll have us. Thank You so much”

“Had a wonderful 3 days here. Madeleine and Ken, were excellent and helpful hosts, providing suggestions for walks, wineries and restaurants. The daily homemade breakfast was delicious and varied each day. We particularly loved the fresh homemade muffins and scones. Lovely touch to have access to complimentary snacks, fruit and drinks through the day as well. Great location, comfortable room and an easy walk into town. ”
