“The room was run down and in need of repairs. There was a foul odor in the toilet. The towel bar in the shower was missing. The walls in the shower were caked with accumulated soap film and were unclean. In the lavatory area, there was a portion of the wall where something had been attached (probably a hand soap dispenser) to the wall but was torn off leaving broken hole in the drywall. He inquired if I was hungry as the cafe in the hotel had closed for the day and Mr Johnny was concerned I might be hungry after a long day of waiting around the airport.
