Visible Lack Of Investment In Property

Checked in about 3:30 for one night. Room strongly smelled of cigarette smoke. I began to smell of the same smell. Sitting chair had visible white stains. I refused to go near it. Carpet had not been cleaned in decades. I refused to put my feet on the floor. Signs of surface cleaning not deep room cleaning. Requested second room and spouse had to view the room first. Hole in closet door, carpet had not been cleaned in decades and shower needed a deep clean in corners of the walls. Edgy guess, pimps and prostitutes checked in. Sadly, destitute people and families apparently live there almost permanently. Thus the reason for overfilled garbage trash cans. Food thrown on the grounds. It is apparent money does not go back into keeping the property neat, tidy or updated. Actually, pretty scary! Desk staff seemed nice however, you could tell branding nor marketing is of interest to have customers return or recommend.
