“Fantastiska frukostar, vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Ett av de bästa hotellen jag bott på. Poolen är liten men man är ju oftast inte i George Town för att vara på hotellet.”

“Questo piccolo albergo a Georgetown e' una perla "italiana". Il proprietario, infatti e' un italiano di origine veneta che gestisce l'hotel assieme alla moglie inglese. Siamo stati accolti per nome e alla reception un simpatico impiegato malese ci ha subito dato degli ottimi consigli per la visita della citta'. Il giorno di Natale siamo stati omaggiati di una fetta di panettone. Una vera rarira' in Malaysia. Raccomando sicuramente questo hotel.”

“Modern high-rise hotel at the south edge of Old Town. Right next door to several shopping malls and to Noordin Street. Very convenient to Thaipussam celebrations many of which take place right in front of the building. Armenian Street is about 15 minute walk. Beautiful views of Georgetown from club-level floors and from the lounge itself. Main breakfast restaurant was very busy, perhaps because of the ongoing Indian festival.”

“The room was wonderful. Very clean, modern, and spacious. Although the hotel is a little ways from the historical downtown, you can take the free bus (CAT) and get off at stop 11 and from there the hotel is less than a10 min walk. CAT made it very easy to get anywhere in town from the hotel. The only negative was the wifi was awful. It was constantly dropping and I had to reconnect multiple times each session. ”

“Value for money. I travel a lot and so am very particular about cleanliness, good ambience and things working. The rooms were clean and smells new. bed sheets nice and clean, bath towels smell good, hot shower available and right temperature. Air con fresh, cool and no musky smell. ”

Lo Yeng Keng Hotel è ricavato all'interno di una antica dimora cinese della quale mantiene i fregi, i colori e la disposizione delle camere tutte allineate intorno alla hall. Camere confortevoli, ben accessoriate, solo la piscina è un pò piccola. Colazione ricca di colori e sapori locali, oltre ai classici europei. La sera si anima con l'arrivo di avventori esterni interessati a passare una fresca serata nel bar/ristorante situato nel cortile...

“beautiful little heritage hotel well-located in the heart of georgetown. stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. rooms: tastefully decorated and spacious. there were separate sleeping and sitting areas, which we appreciated. saw many reviews about the noise situation but we thought it was perfectly fine — there were soundproofing curtains which were very effective, not sure if they're a recent addition. building: interesting architecture, colonial look with peranakan influences, i...

“The room itself is perfect. Hotel staff are polite. We took the Family Room, which the nightly replenished drinks in the mini fridge are complimentary. The breakfast had excellent variety so much so that we could not try everything even when we spent 4 nights there. The only real downside was the complimentary shuttle service which they booked the wrong date for us, but it was still minor - although next time reception need to specify the date clearly to avoid this kind of problem.”
