“Old Showa style minimalistic ryokan, but the room for 5 was spacepus (double room) and the tatami beds and beddings arw comfortable. Self-service to put the futon (which was no problem for us). Power plugs and Wifi were abundant. We were fine with steps but for eldery or disabled it may be a challenge. The hot spring bath was nice. “I don’t believe this accommodation justify the cost if you will stay at this property without dinner and breakfast. I was able to reduce the expense for a night to c. $55 by using Expedia credits equal to $30, but if I didn’t have it, I would recommend to stay another one. Far from the center of Matsumoto Nothing was around the property Nothing would be provided to kids, such as amenities, welcoming tea and snacks, basically. The only nicer point was hot spring with good scene”

“温泉旅館が建ち並ぶ通りから少し入ったところにあります。もう閉業済みのお宿の建物も同じエリアにいくつかあり、率直に言って少し寂れてるなという印象の中、さすがルートインさんという安心感がありました。 お部屋に大きな卓上鏡、ベッド横の読書灯、各種充電ケーブルもあり便利です。個人的にはハンガーがたくさんあって助かりました。 大浴場は清潔感があり、泉質もとても気に入りました。レストラン兼朝食会場での食事もおいしかったです。建物自体が大きくないので人がごった返すこともありましたが、これくらいがちょうどいいのだろうという納得感があります。 また長野市近くに行くことがあればリピーターとして泊まりたいです。”
