“Very welcoming check-in. We were allowed to check-in very early which was great. Lovely room, friendly staff, quiet location, beautiful public areas, delicious food. The honesty bar and pretty garden are a real bonus. Highly recommended.”

“Lovely people but the place is run down and the room had very old linens- towels that probably can never be white again. I was afraid to use them. Breakfast was like anything one would make at home except not even like that. Disappointing experience”

“This is definitely a tranquil haven set amongst a city of contrasts. The team were attentive went out of their way to ensure my stay was relaxing, enjoyable and any needs/requests were promptly and efficiently dealt with. The Lodge is set within a lush garden landscape and rooms and common areas are clean and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was home cooked, generous & delicious. “Le camere sono ben tenute e sono pulite. L'hotel è tranquillo e lo staff molto gentile. Ci siamo trovati male nel ristorante. Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo come suggerito ma al nostro arrivo non c'era. La cena era inaspettatamente a buffet e nessuno ci ha informato del prezzo - comunque era l'unica scelta che avevamo a quel punto siamo rimasti. La qualità del cibo non era buona e il servizio molto scarso (da bere è arrivato quasi a fine cena). ”
