The unique daily game drives had our Bush Bar (best bar in South Africa, thanks to Benjamin and Penwey) interrupted by a Nyala being chased by a wild dog. Per arrivare al lodge, si deve percorrere una lunga strada sterrata e buia; consigliamo quindi di arrivare con la luce anche perche’ si possono incontrare splendidi animali lungo il tragitto. Noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di vedere una famiglia di giraffe, ed e’ stato un inizio veramente molto emozionante. “Wir haben das Riverhaus (Familien-Chalet) für 4 Personen gebucht. Das war sehr schön und grosszügig. Die Tiere (Nyala, Warzenschweine usw.) konnten wir von der Terrasse aus beobachten. Im holzbefeuerten Whirpool (wird von den Mitarbeitern aufgeheizt, kostet zusätzlich) haben wir die Umgebung genossen, war toll. Auch sonst war alles sehr schön und bestens. Die morgendliche Anfahrt ins "Big-5-Gebiet" dauert etwas und man muss sich warm anziehen, lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall.”
