“I stayed for two nights in a one bedroom "Delux Chalet" which had a nice patio so you could sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. The room was very nice with a draw-around mosquito net on the bed which I didn't use. The bathroom had been completely renovated with floor to ceiling ceramic tiles with a full-sized bathtub at one end and a large shower at the other end. The room is extremely quiet at night and only the sounds of ducks quacking in the morning...no roosters! The complimentary breakfast...

“I recently stayed at the Sunbird Capital Hotel over a 3 week period and couldn't be happier, mostly thanks to the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered. The hotel rooms are more along the line of very comfortable 3 star in the U.S. (with some points of wear) than 5 star, but the atmosphere and service are the best I've experienced for solid business hotels in comparable settings. I'll take clean, comfortable rooms, lovely gardens, solid dining, and friendly, helpful staff...

“This hotel is very comfortable. The staffs are very kind. You can ask questions you have on your trip. Especially, Mr. Aditya, front office manager, told me how to go to other cities. In addition, I was very peased with meals in this hotel's restaurant. You can eat not only local foods but also Indian and Chinese ones. I can reccomend this hotel with confidence.”

The studios have no phone to reception, toiletries and water are not replaced, and staff not particularly attentive. Not a single staff wore a mask except on request.”

“The Green Elephant is stunning. Conveniently located (if you have transport) for getting around Lilongwe but not directly in the middle. The staff are relaxed, friendly and professional and helped every day. They made me special vegetarian options on request, and let me help myself to other foods. The furnishings are top notch. Middag kunne vi bestille når vi følte for det, de hadde en meny med forskjellige retter, veldig god mat. Den ene dagen var de tom for kylling og chambo, men det hadde ikke noe å si, siden det var flere retter å velge mellom. De som jobbet der var veldig gjestestue og høflige personer. “I greatly enjoyed my time at the Residence for many reasons. Chawa picked me up from the airport. The fee to get into town was less than half the posted charge for taxis.
