“Ideal location for visiting Southampton, there are some nice pubs only a short drive away. The breakfast was good lots to choose from. I stayed in the quadruple room on the top floor. It was big, spacious but a bit hot so we had four fans running. Very good overall”

“Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships.”

“We had a terrible experience dealing with the manager of the property. Perhaps the worst manager we ever dealt with. He had problems logging into his system, but all he could tell us was "I cant help you". We had issues with check ins, the room smelled smoky and air ventilation system was broken. We informed the manager and he responded "oh all the rooms have this problem. The AC system in all rooms are broken. All rooms are booked tonight and we cannot switch you to another room. “Useful location but very close to the A30. Nice hotel/former coaching Inn with friendly welcome. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. The good size double room had a kettle with coffee bags, fan, hairdryer, iron and ironing board plus large TV. The mattress was a bit too firm for our comfort though.”
