“Very disappointed for a La Quinta by Wyndham. The property needs a complete overhaul. The front looks like it hasn’t been maintained for a while. The room was clean enough to feel comfortable to sleep overnight but it’s time for a rehab budget. The floor in the elevator was gross and the safety handles were missing. Side door entry doesn't work. There were live beetles in the lobby. The front desk staff was super friendly though. This property should be under $100 for the condition that it is...

“This is an older hotel but very well kept and very clean . Not hot breakfast or protein just standard cereal and muffins”

“Our rooms were very clean and surprisingly quiet! We were right close to the elevator…Very comfortable king beds! We were very surprised , not knowing anything about Lockhart Texas! Only there over night but it was a great stay!”

No one ever answered the phone. Then, when we got there in the evening the guy at the front desk said that we would need to check out in the morning to rebook our room. “Clean room, friendly staff. The bathtub is a "slip and fall" slick surface. After I nearly fell, I placed a bath towel in the tub so my wife could take a shower without hurting herself. Also, no coffee pot or coffee in the room. It's a basic, make that very basic, place to lay your head for a few hours. As in all tourist destinations, the competition is among the travelers looking for a room and as a result, hotels don't have to worry much about customer satisfaction.”
