“The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. “The Carlton staff was very kind. Facilities were nicely kept. My only complaint would be the noisy nights outside of the hotel. ”

“Very good hotel in a good central location in Elgin. Check-In and Check Out were quick and straightforward and the room I had was comfortable with a large shower. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice bar with a good menu. Breakfast was very good as well.”

“The room was clean. However, we decided not to stay as we did not feel safe. The door has a very weak lock and access from the street up to the rooms is open to anyone. Also, the en suite bathroom and toilet door did not close or lock. ”

“This place was very lovely. Very quiet and private. Super clean and the owner communicated very well over message. The only downside was that the website did not state you have to pay extra for pillows, bed sheets, and towels. For travelers that don’t bring this stuff be prepared to pay extra on top of the cost. Other than that the place was very nice. Wi-Fi only works outside the pod too unless you are staying in one of the closer pods like pod 1 or 2. ”

“Dispiace fare una recensione negativa, soprattutto perché la struttura potrebbe essere molto bella vista la sua posizione, proprio difronte al Moray Golf Club. Purtroppo, l'albergo è gestito molto male, con camere molto vecchie e scomode. I bagni sono al limite della praticabilità: brutto, scrostato, wc con problemi di scarico (impiegava 20 minuti a ricaricarsi), vasca da bagno scomoda e con una tenda che avrà avuto 30 anni. “Lovely stay, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable & very clean. Lovely welcome pack. Beds were really warm & comfy. The balcony was wonderful, watched the sunrise & the surfers every morning with a cup of tea. Didn’t want to leave had such a peaceful time. Look forward to going back. ”
