Hotel vicino a Kleine Scheidegg - Grindelwald

“This is by far one of the best hotels in the entire world I have been. Very close to the train station in Wengen (just need to walk around 200 meters) downhill with luggage through a paved street. If you are in good shape, that is not a problem. All staff super friendly, feels like family. Breakfast included with very fresh and local options. We had the dinner at the hotel and it was amazing with great selection. Rooms very well mantained. Did I mention the beautiful views? Out of this world....

“Perfect location and clean/roomy hotel with free 24hr still/gas water, coffee, and tiny croissants(around noon). There were steam/normal sauna and big pool opening from 10am-8pm. Only cons were that no fridge and air cooler but I just open window and kept grocery in the balcony(be careful of greedy crows) in early May. The restaurant opens until late and it was helpful. Outside was loud at night when somebody were drinking at bar outside.”

“I had great expectations for this stay since I’ve been to Wengen several times and I looked forward to stay at this hotel, that I value as the best there. It was a short stay to ski, so I arrived and I departed late. The reception closes at 16.00 so I found my room key waiting for me with a nice note and that’s it. After 16.00 there’s also no service to and from the station: a minor issue. I felt really unwelcome without a human contact with the reception: I can understand that at a “cheap”...
