“Family run business, very friendly and accommodating staff. Room was clean, basic amenities (eg dated wardrobe). Sheets and towels clean, a few with stains. Very close to Gaya st and 2 great supermarkets next door.”

“The pictures and the rating for the hotel and rooms were misleading. The rooms were fithy. The walls were covered in dust. The dust on some of the flat surfaces was so thick that it must have been there for months or possibly years. A/C unit made popping sounds all day an night and barely worked. The shower leaked all over the tiny bathroom floor. There was only hot water for less than 2 minutes to shower with and then went ice cold. The towels were paper thin and felt like sandpaper. The...

“A RECOMMENDED HOTEL THAT THAT IS VERY WELL MAINTAINED, CLEAN AND OFFERS VERY GOOD ACCOMMODATION IN ONE OF THE TOP LOCATIONS IN KOTA KINABALU...THE STAFF AND THE MANAGEMENT IS GENUINELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL...THE HOTEL IS LOCATED NEXT TO SEVERAL OLDER MALLS (WISMA MERDEKA AND THE KK MALL) AND THE NEW SARIAH SABAH MALL...THE FARMERS MARKET AND GAYA STREET ARE JUST A COUPLE OF HUNDRED METERS AWAY...LOTS OF GREAT RESTAURANT CHOICES NEARBY...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”

“We love this hotel, one thing- they need to make sure the leafy vegetables salad is really checked and cleaned. We found a little slimy creepy crawler on the leafy green lettuce.. sad , we bit it was just oversight but … it kills our appetite.. ”

“Staff are smiling all the time. Amazing swimming pool on roof deck / bar. However, the pool should have a roped off section for lap swimming for adults and a kids area for fooling around. Too many kids who have zero etiquette loud parents made swimming in a sophisticated environment feel like bargain basement garage sale kinda place. Or adults only from 18:00 to close. ”
